     Bishop Dr. David M. Tucker grew up in Russell County, Kentucky in the Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior there at the age of 13. At 15 years old, he began attending the Parksridge Church of God and his hunger for God grew. He experienced sanctification at the age of 17 and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at age 18. With more great things in store, God called him to preach at the age of 19 and he preached his first sermon on January 1, 1995.

    Bishop David met First Lady Melissa on July 1, 1993 when her dad became his pastor. She testifies that God spoke to her that day and told her she would marry him. Their first date wasn't until December 8, 1995 and they lived happily ever after. They were married on June 12, 1999 and have been blessed with two wonderful children, Dylan and Jalyn.

     Ministry appointments have been as follows: 1996-1997 Youth Pastor at Dunnville Church of God; 1998-1999 MIP program at Jamestown Church of God; 1999-2000 Associate/Youth Pastor at Owensboro-Rushing Wind Church of God; 2000 Youth Pastor at Cumberland Church of God; 2000-2004 Associate/Youth Pastor at Owensboro-Wings of Faith Church of God; 2004-2007 Senior Pastor at Drakesboro-Shining Light Worship Center; 2010-Present Lead Pastor at Next Level Church of God. Pastor David earned his church credentials as follows: 1995-Exhorter Minister; 1999- Licensed Minister; 2004-Ordained Bishop. He served on the Ky. Church of God State Historical Committee from 2010-2018.
 
     Being bi-vocational, Pastor David has worked in higher education and non-profits for many years. Educationally, he holds a Diploma of Biblical Studies from Ames International School of Ministry, a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Kentucky University, a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy in Church History from Newburgh Theological Seminary. He is a leader in the Owensboro community working with the Senior Community Center of Owensboro-Daviess County and in the region serving on boards and committees. He is the co-founder of Santa Dave & Co. LLC, and Tuckerville Homestead.
